"Lufthansa" and "JAT airways" to broaden cooperation

Airliners ``Lufthansa`` and ``Jat airways`` will broaden cooperation. Unilateral code

-share contract has already been applied since June 2004 to the flights of ``Lufthansa`` as airliner that operates on these lines, and now the cooperation will be broadened thanks to bilateral application of code-share contract, on all flights of both companies between Belgrade and Frankfurt, as well as Belgrade and Munich. The passengers of both companies will be able to choose from the bigger number of flights between Germany and Serbia and Montenegro.

Also, users of ``Lufthansa's`` stimulation program ``Miles and the Sea`` will be able, by ``collecting`` passed miles on all flights of ``Jat airways" between Germany and Serbia and Montenegro, to realize the right to free airline tickets on the flights of ``Jat airways``. The passengers from both countries will have opportunity to apply for flight and check luggage for entire course of the travel.

The passenger of ``Jat airways", thanks to partnership of this company within Star Alliance network, will be able to choose from flights to 800 destinations in 140 countries of the world. The tickets will be for sale in travel agencies and booking agencies of both companies.

``Lufthansa`` points out that ``Jat airways" uses IT systems of ``Lufthansa`` for some time already. (Pregled)
