Ex-Nokia team makes new rival smartphone

Several of the team left the Finnish mobile giant, Nokia, who quit because the company decided to give up on operating system, MeeGo in favour of Windows, has shown off Jolla May 20, 2012, a new smart phone.

Jolla company smart phone, completely intuitive and without buttons, is an important candidate at the phone market, according to the company announcement for France Press.

The model called just Jolla has a 4.5 in touch screen, and will be available in the fourth quarter at the price of EUR 399.

The company profiles itself as a “different” phone producer. It is currently developing its own operating system, Sailfish O, which will replace MeeGo.
