Belgrade - Soon continuation of construction of Prokop, €125m missing, pre-tender for sale of commercial space to follow

After several quiet years, building machines will once again hum working on the biggest and, so far, the most expensive facility ever built in SCG - "Beograd Centar" station in Prokop. With the help of former financiers - Republic, City of Belgrade and Railways of Serbia, as well as with the plan that the part of money, besides the one from the credit, be provided by sale of exclusive commercial space on already built upper station of the Prokop station, the facility will be completed until the end of 2007. Soon the pre-tender will be announced for this commercial space, which will be followed by annunciation of international tender for continuation of construction of Prokop and other contents of railroad junction.

Companies from many countries of the world are interested in forthcoming tender: Israel, America, Germany, Russia etc.

According to estimates of Railway of Serbia, about €125m is needed for complete continuation of the construction.
