Bulgarians and Dutchmen interested in procurement of "Trayal"

The Privatization Agency received two offers for purchase of 76.9% of assets of "Trayal Corporation" from Kruševac - from "Brikel" EAD from Bulgaria and "Elcor holding" from Netherlands.

- After the opening of the bids, the tender commission determined that both bidders meet requirements from the announced tender, whereas the financial and legal advisors will estimate delivered bids within next 30 days - the Privatization Agency announced after the analysis of the qualification documentation and the opinion of the councilor of that agency.

The tender documentation for purchase of 76.9% of assets of "Trayal Corporation" from Kruševac was bought by four potential buyers - Municipal bank" PLC from Bulgaria, "Matador" from Slovakia, "Brikel" EAD from Bulgaria and "Elcor holding" BV. from Netherlands.

The conditions from the tender stipulated that the bids can be delivered only by companies that dealt with the production or trade in tyres during the last three years and whose income in 2005 amounted to not less than 50m EUR.

All financial investors that operate for at least three years and who had the assets or income of not less than 100m EUR last year had the right to participate in the tender.

"Trayal", which registered loss in amount of 3.5m EUR last year, annually produces about 2m tyres and that Kruševac-based factory employs 3,500 workers at the moment.
