North Karton to start building factory in Jagodina on June 1st

The North Karton company from Volgograd, Russia will start building a factory for producing wave cardboard and cardboard packaging in Jagodina on June 1st, where about 200 workers will get a job, Jagodina Mayor Dragan Markovic-Palma said Thursday.
The factory will be built in the industrial zone, about 500 meters away from the itnernational highway and the Belgrade-Nis railroad on Corridor X, Markovic explained at a reception occasioned by the Victory Day, which was also attended by the first secretary of the Embassy of Russian Federation to Belgrade, Alexander Gusev, as well as members of the Russian and Serbian humanitarian demining squad of the Russian agency Eemerkon in Paracin.
This factory comprise a 15,000 square meter production space, its capacity is 18,000,000 square meters of cardboard a month, and the initial investment is valued at EUR 15,000,000.
The North Karton company hosted a recent visit by the businessmen from Jagodina and Serbia to the City of Saint Petersburg.
