Diaspora to open wood pelleting plant in Brus

Serbian businessmen from the diaspora are going to open a wood pelleting plant in Brus in late July, and hire 50 people in the first phase, the Diaspora Office announced in a release today.

The new plant will be opened as part of the Zavicajna Udruzenja (Homeland Associations) project launched by the Diaspora Office, Serbian businessmen from Russia - Goran Radmanovac and Milomir Zdravkovic, and Heinz Brokman, representative of Germany's Schuster Engineering.

The wood pelleting plant in Brus, which is currently under construction, will be using a highly-developed German renewables technology to produce heating pellets.

In cooperation with local self-governments, the Diaspora Office will soon open offices in Nis and Krusevac.
