Croatia to leave ownership in "Podravka"

Croatia cleared "Podravka" from the list of companies of strategic interest for the country, which opened the opportunity for sale of entire or at least a part of the state share in the company.
Thus, "Podravka" became of one of the seven companies in which Croatia has a minority ownership and which is willing to sell. Besides "Podravka", other companies on that list are INA, "Koncar electrical industry", "Djuro Djakovic holding", "Luka Ploce," "Atlantska plovidba" and "SuncaniHvar."
Through the Agency for State Property Management and Capital Fund, Croatia owns 26.44 % of the ownership of Koprivnica "Podravka".
Croatian Prime Minister, Zoran Milanovic, said that "Podravka" would go to recapitalization in which the state would not participate and that he expected the share of the state in "Podravka" to fall to around 20%.
