Company "Meler" to have new factory bult in Sremska Mitrovica, jobs for about 1,000 new workers

One of the most famous companies in the world for production of electro-installation materials "Meler" will have the factory built in Sremska Mitrovica, in which about 1,000 workers will get jobs within next five years.

Construction of the factory, according to the plan, will last for two years. Today (September 27, 2006), the Mayor of Sremska Mitrovica, Zoran Nišević, and the deputy of the general manager of "Meler", Lehner Zihfrid, signed the contract on rental of the building land.

Among the rest, the new factory will be producing about eight million safety fuses on annual basis.
