SIEPA expects EUR 2 billion foreign investment in Serbia in 2013

Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) expects the value of this year's foreign investment in Serbia to reach EUR 2 billion.

According to the data provided by the National Bank of Serbia, about EUR 1.74 billion were invested in Serbia in the period June 2012 - January 2013.

The primary target for foreign investment in 2013 is the energy sector, where the Serbian government has already signed agreements whose implementaton should commence this year, SIEPA has told Beta news agency. This agency has also reminded that the most valuable agreement is the one for the construction of South Stream gas pipeline.
