The first plane was welcomed at Belgrade Airport by British Ambassador to Serbia Michael Davenport, Tanjug news agency has reported.

Ousley said a 156-seat Airbus 319 would fly between Belgrade and Milan Malpensa, stressing that passengers would be able to fly with EasyJet from Milan to 47 destinations.
Director of the Tourism Organization of Serbia Gordana Plamenac said EasyJet's arrival was very important for Serbia's tourism, adding that that organization would help promote that carrier's service.
