"IBM" opened local office in Belgrade


- American company "IBM" has opened the local office in Belgrade in order to increase its business investments in Serbia - the general manager of that company for southeast Europe (Brandon Riley) announced.
He pointed out that that company would operate mostly in the industrial fields in Serbia, as well as in the banking sector, telecommunications, state administration and energy. The office of "IBM" in Serbia employs about 30 workers at the moment, but, according to the words of the manager of "IBM" in Belgrade, Miloš Đurković, the significant market enlargement is in the pipeline, as well as opening of new departments that will deal with provision of services and increase in number of employees.
Đurković cited that "IBM" used to operate with about 50 local business partners in Serbia, but the business network in the period that follows will be much enlarged.
