The foundation stone for a pallet factory was laid Wednesday in the village of Tavnik near Kraljevo. According to Rene Hausler from Switzerland, the founder of the Noble Environmental Europe company, between 15 and 17 million euros will be invested over the next few months in this factory, which will also employ about hundred workers, it was announced on the city website.
Co-investors are Nenad Trifunovic from Serbia, Rene Hausler from Switzerland, and Robert Noble, the owner of the Ecor company from San Diego, a technology innovator in the production of pallets of eco-materials. This factory will be the first in Europe to use this type of modern technology and operate under the name of Noble Environmental Serbia.
- The future pallet factory, which will be part of the Noble Environmental Europe company, will span about 6,000 square meters and have a license and the right to sell products across Europe, Russia, the Near East and Africa - said Rene Hausler.
The company run by Robert Noble has business partners in Japan, Malaysia, China, Korea, Brazil, Mexico and other countries, but Kraljevo and Serbia are chosen partially due to a lower cost of manpower than in America.
The factory is due to open in early September with first products planned to be marketed first in Europe and then in the USA and Russia.
