Siemens Belgrade is going to hire another 232 workers for the needs of additional production due to an increased number of orders from abroad.

The process of hiring new workers began late February with a total of 167 people employed by April 12th. The plan is to hire all 232 workers by the end of April.

Siemens will invest additional EUR 10 million in its generator plant in Subotica over the next three years, primarily in the improvement of production. During the last year this plant has been expanded to include the third facility, so that production space is now spanning 28,000 square meters. Over 14,500 generators produced at this plant are mainly exported to the Europe and the USA, with every fourth windmill in Europe being powered by a generator made in Subotica.
