Investment in realisation - Cultural Centre Svilajnac

This project includes reconstruction, construction of an annex, superstructure of the present building of cultural centre. It will consist of the cellar, the basement, the floor and loft with the total surface of 2 350 m². In the basement aside from the spacious hall there will be a gallery and café with other rooms. The theatre hall will have 350 seats. The stage together with side stage will have the surface of 240m². Behind the stage there are rooms for programme participants . The floor is for offices , wardrobe, small hall with 75 seats, conference hall. In the loft there will be three classrooms for music school, three ateliers and technical rooms. In the cellar, there will be saloon for musicians, workshops decoration rooms, rooms for equipment, wardrobe and other technical rooms. The building was designed according to the highest European standards and will be one of the most attractive and most functional institutions of culture in the Republic of Serbia.

Construction of this cultural centre is funded by ministry of Education and Sport of the republic of Serbia, The municipality of Svilajnac, The municipality’s investment funs and part of the expenses will be supplied by international donations.
