Mihajlo Pupin Institute to open laboratory for EMC product testing

Mihajlo Pupin Institute, a leading partner of the EMC Serbia project, which is funded by the European Union through Regional Socio-Economic Development Programme 2, has announced the opening of a new laboratory for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) product testing. The Laboratory will be located in Belgrade, inside the Institute’s premises in Zvezdara, with the official opening of the laboratory to the customers scheduled for mid-June 2013.
- The new laboratory will have a capacity to render product testing service in compliance with current European and international EMC standards for clients from Serbia, region and abroad. Meeting the requirements of EMC standards is a necessary condition for the export of electrical devices to the European and other markets across the world. Since recently, manufacturers must also prove EMC compliance before placing products on the local market. Opening of a new, modern EMC laboratory in Serbia will reduce costs that domestic manufacturers have nowadays and, at the same time, it will increase the competitiveness of domestic industry - Mihajlo Pupin Institute said in a release.
During the promotional period, which will last until 31 May 2013, companies interested in laboratory services can apply for tests at discount rates by sending an e-mail to the following address: emcserbia@pupin.rs
