An auction for the sale of former hotel Jugobanka at Mount Kopaonik was not held today because nobody applied for participation in the auction, people at the Deposit Insurance Agency told Beta news agency.

The starting price was set at EUR 3.7 million.

Co-owners of this hotel are Jugobanka in bankruptcy, Alpha Bank Serbia, NLB Bank Belgrade, Jugobanka Kosovska Mitrovica and Kop Star Belgrade.

The media in Belgrade reported earlier that General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, was interested in buying that hotel.

Two business buildings in downtown Belgrade, which cover an area of 4,000 square meters and are owned by Jugobanka and Alpha Bank, also failed to attract bidders. Their starting price was set at EUR 7.5 million.
