Overture to the biggest "greenfield" investment in Serbia – factory of bioethanol in Zrenjanin

On Monday (September 25, 2006), in Zrenjanin, the contract on the biggest "greenfield" investment in Serbia, worth more than 370m EUR, will be signed.

The contract will be signed by the representatives of the investor, American-Hungarian Consortium of specialized companies from Budapest, and the Mayor of Zrenjanin, Goran Knežević.

The money will be invested in construction of factory for production of bioethanol, which will employ about 300 workers, and an important effect in field of improvement of agricultural production is expected.
