Serbia like Las Vegas

All interested in the opening of the casino that would be located up to 50 kilometers away from the building of the Parliament of City of Belgrade can submit their applications prior to October 16, 2006.

- Government of Serbia has announced the tender on September 1 and, so far, the tender documentation have been submitted by two famous casinos from abroad whose names I can not tell until the application process is ended - said Zoran Jadžić, manager of the Administration for Lottery Games.

According to his words, the plan is that the second public invitation for issuing of license for casino that would be located outside the capital of Serbia be announced at the end of October.

Jadžić reminded that the Government of Serbia had issued license for opening of one casino in Belgrade in 2005 and that "Grand Casino Austria" had given the most favorable bid in amount of 18m EUR.
