The net inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Serbia was at EUR 231.9 million last year, it is said in a new issue of the Konjukturni Trendovi (Conjecture Trends) magazine published by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

That is significantly below the amount of FDI in 2011, when the foreign direct investment inflow reached approximately EUR 1.83 billion.

The net inflow of FDI in Serbia in December 2012 stood at EUR 95 million.

The year 2013 is expected to see a positive contribution of private and government investments to the growth of gross domestic product (GDP), the magazine reports.
