Construction of EUR 40.2 million clinical center in Nis to kick off June 2013 - Selection of contractors underway

Director General of the Nis Clinical Center Dr. Zoran Radovanovic said Tuesday that an international invitation to bid for the construction of a new facility and the reconstruction of the old building of that clinical center had been announced, so that works should commence June 2013.

Radovanovic told a press conference that the Nis Clinical Center would be the first (out of the total of four in Serbia) to be built with the funds provided by the European Investment Bank (EIB).

- The value of this investment is EUR 40.2 million, with works set to be completed in 32 months - Radovanovic said and added that bids from prospective contractors would be opened May 7th.
