Company "Carlsberg Srbija" to invest 20m EUR in production and environment protection in 2007

General manager of company "Carlsberg Srbija" Isaac Sheps stated that that beer factory had invested about 16m EUR in the production capacities in 2006 and that the additional 20m EUR would be set aside in 2007, 3m EUR of which would be invested in the environment protection.

Speaking about the plans for the following year, Sheps said that about 20m EUR would be spent on broadening and modernization of the production capacities in Čelarevo in order to get high-quality beer in accordance with European standards.

Of these means, "Carlsberg Srbija" will set aside 3m EUR for construction of the unit for treatment of wastewater from the factory and for the unit for recycling of waste of metal, wood, plastic and paper.
