Golden Lady to open new production facility in Loznica by year's end - Jobs for another 200 workers

Serbian Finance and Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic stated today, during his visit to the Golden Lady factory in Loznica, that that company had the intention to build a new 6,000 square meter production facility in that city and hire another 200 workers.

He reminded that the company was exporting EUR 100 million worth of goods to Russia, adding that it had opened a new logistics center in October 2012.

According to him, Golden Lady will have in excess of 2,000 employees in Serbia this year, with a major portion of production taking place in Loznica and the rest in Valjevo.

- The logistics center is also situated in Loznica where high-quality goods are loaded onto 13 to 15 trucks and then shipped to Russia every week - said Dinkic.

As he pointed out, Serbia needs much more similar investments, and the city of Loznica and the republic government will provide full support to production expansion and the employment of new workers at this factory.

Dinkic stressed that some new Italian investors were interested in investing in the industrial zone in Loznica, adding that they were all top companies from Italy.
