Gorenje revenues stagnate - Profit at EUR 300,000

The Gorenje Group registered EUR 1.26 billion sales revenues last year, down about 0.5 percent from 2011.

Household appliance sales grew 6.9 percent in Q4 2012, thus increasing the total annual revenues by 1.7 percent.

The last quarter in 2012 positively affected earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT), which went up 2.9 percent from the year before and reached EUR 44.9 million, whereas the profit stood at EUR 300,000.

Last year Gorenje's gross debt was reduced by EUR 51.4 million from the year before.

Gorenje's 2012 sales rose 5.5 percent in Russia, Ukraine, Germany and Scandinavia as well as in non-European markets. The biggest sales growth outside Europe was achieved in China, the USA and Australia, with the latter being considered one of the most promising non-European markets.
