Zastava Arms sign USD 40 million export deals in 2013

This year Zastava Arms from Kragujevac has signed export deals worth close to USD 40 million, up USD 15 million from 2012, Zastava Arms Marketing Director told Tanjug Thursday.

According to him, Zastava Arms is going to export its hunting and sports products to more than 40 countries worldwide, including the USA where about USD 28 million worth of products will be exported. The value of exports to other countries, as Milosevic added, will range from 20,000 to 500,000-600,000 US dollars.

- We have signed agreements with the US partner Century International Arms to export USD 32.5 million products to that country, but due to our limited capacity, which our partner is aware of, we will export about USD 28 million worth of products to that market this year? - said Milosevic.

He stressed that that company was a partner with which Zastava Arms would definitely cooperate in the next two or three years because, as he said, the US market was very interested in hunting and sporting products of the Kragujevac-based factory.

When it comes to military products, an agreement has been signed on exports to Asian and African countries thanks to the Jugoimport SDPR company.

Milosevic pointed out that Zastava Arms had signed most of the agreements at prestigious fairs held this year in Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi and Nurnberg.
