Owners of Google and their director asked for salary of 1 USD

Sergey Brin himself asked that his salary, Larry Page's salary and the salary of general director Eric Schmidt be reduced to 1 USD in the second quarter of 2005. Before that, they had salaries of 150,000 USD per year, while the director used to receive salary of 250,000 USD.

This will not be big impact to their home budgets since it is assumed that Page and Brin together has over 7 billion USD. From recent sale of 76,300 stocks of Google Brin earned 14 million USD, whereas Page sold 400,000 stocks for 70 million USD. (Pregled)
