Branko Radujko named NIS Director General for Bosnia-Herzegovina

Branko Radujko, former CEO of Telekom Srbija, has been appointed as director general of the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) for Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Capital web portal reports.

As people at NIS unofficially confirmed to Capital, Radujko will be managing this company in Bosnia-Herzegovina upon the acquisition of OMV gas stations.

NIS gas stations will operate under the NIS brand in the Republic of Srpska and under the Gazprom brand in the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

After leaving Telekom Srbija, Radujko signed a professional managerial contract with Gazprom Neft on his engagement in NIS.

Radujko has been running Telekom Srbija since 2007, when the Serbian government (consisting of DS and DSS members at the time) named him director general of that company.

Austria's oil company OMV made a decision on 1 March 2012 to sell its business in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and it later sold all its 28 gas stations, fuel storage and the main office in Sarajevo to NIS, which has also assumed its 22 workers.
