SANADER: Headquarters of CEFTA will not be settled in Belgrade

- The headquarters of CEFTA will not be settled in Belgrade - said the Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, reminding that he was the first to resist creation of the free zone of the west Balkans and first to suggest, in the name of the Government, enlargement of CEFTA with the neighboring countries and Moldova and Ukraine, which is still under consideration in Brussels.

Croatian Head of Diplomacy, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, said that it was unacceptable to Croatia that the headquarters of CEFTA be settled in Belgrade, because it should be in Brussels.

She said that the existing CEFTA must be modified and that Croatia did not want to go under the level of the free trade regulated by the bilateral contracts and that it could not allow that any new member of CEFTA collect additional duties on Croatian export products.
