BAKEBERG: BAT ready for new business projects

New general manager of company "British American Tobacco - Duvanska industrija Vranje (DIV)", Jirgen Bakeberg, promised that, together with the managing team and employees, he would improve already enviable results of the company he had taken to manage on September 1, 2006.

Bekeber pointed to the good cooperation of DIV with local community and emphasized that BAT would continue to help and stimulate economic and social development of Vranje and Serbia.

He added that the growth of production and improvement of quality of products would be the priorities of the factory, because it was ready for the new business projects.

Bakeberg has three decades of the international experience and he came to Vranje from the position of the general manager of BAT's factory in Samarkand (Uzbekistan), one of the leading tobacco factories in that part of the world.
