NBS issued first license to voluntary pension fund "Delta Generali"

The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has issued the first work permit to the Stock company for management of voluntary pension fund "Delta Generali" from Belgrade and the first license for the organization of voluntary pension fund "Delta Generali" Belgrade and for the management of that fund.

The licenses have been issued, because, in accordance with the Law on voluntary pension funds and pension plans, which was passed in November 2005, all requirements for their obtaining were met.

In addition to "Delta Generali", another four requests for issuing of these licenses have been submitted, some of which meet all requirements, except for the portfolio manager.

There is a small number of persons in Serbia who own the license for carrying out the job of the portfolio manager and hiring of these managers is the condition for issuing of the license.

When the other founders meet that and all other necessary requirements, NBS will, in accordance with the law, issue the licenses to them.
