Concrete factory of company "Holcim Srbija" to be put into operation in October

- "Holcim Srbija" from Novi Popovac near Paraćin will open the concrete factory in Belgrade's settlement Krnjača in 2006, in which 2m EUR were invested - said the general manager of company Gustavo Navaro.

He announced that that company would produce 800,000 tons of cement in 2006, which was 10% more than the year before.

Navaro pointed out that "Holcim" had invested 90m USD in the factory and 5m USD in the environment protection since April 2002 when it "had entered" Popovac-based cement factory.

The Concrete factory in Krnjača is in the trial work and it will be officially put into operation on October 11 and it will be the first of the kind in Serbia with the highest Swedish standard and completely closed production process.
