Mercator has reached a negotiation agreement with 38 banks to reschedule debt payments, and the final agreement is expected to be signed by June 30th, when the moratorium on the payment of principal for all loans expires.
This agreement is not a standard moratorium that implies additional obligations, but rather focuses on the harmonization of loan repayment obligations with cash flows and the reduction of refinancing risks, STA news agency cited Chief Financial Officer Drago Kavek as saying.
Mercator's total financial debt amounts to approximately EUR 1 billion, with long-term liabilities accounting for 46 percent.
