"Windows Vista" in Serbia with strong domestic marketing support

Expectations from the new operative system "Windows Vista" (it will appear on the market at the beginning of year 2007) are exceptionally big and, because of that, the special retail-marketing organization has been formed recently in Serbia, in the scope of company "Microsoft Srbija", which will follow everything that happens on this territory and concerns "Vista", general manager of "Microsoft Srbija" Dejan Cvetković pointed out in the statement for "Ekapija".

According to his words, operative system "Windows Vista" will be localized in Serbian language in both Latin letter and Cyrillic letter. All performances, possibilities and advantages of "Vista", Cvetković explains, will be officially represented for the first time in Serbia at the forthcoming "Microsoft Sinergija 06", which will be held from October 8 to 11 in the Master Center of the Novi Sad Fair.

- That will be, once again, the biggest IT conference in the region of Southeast Europe. It will gather about 1,500 participants and more than 100 lectures will be held by the famous world experts, specialized for work and development on the "Microsoft" platforms, as well as in hetergenous environment – Cvetković pointed out.

He says that the aforementioned manifestation was intentionally moved from Belgrade to Novi SAd, because company "Microsoft Srbija" wanted to stimulate opening of the new congress centers in the country and to stick to that practice in the future.

Speaking about the work of the "Microsoft" development center in Belgrade, Cvetković says that the programmers of that center registered exceptional success in only 11 months by completely developing the system for recognition of handwriting that will be applies soon in many PC computers and next versions of "Microsoft" operative systems.
