PAVLOVIĆ: Serbia needs 10,000 newly formed enterprises every year

- By the end of the year 2006, the Government of Serbia should adopt the Strategy for economic development, which would define the goals, as well as prefered behavious of all actors included in the investment rehabilitation of the Republic – said the assistant to the Minister of Economy Petar Pavlović at the today's round table, organized in the scope of the Fair "Invest Expo 06" in Kragujevac.

He explained that it is of the essential importance to the economic rehabilitaion of the country that about 10,000 new enterprises be founded every year in Serbia, which is the amount that was exceeded by 1,000 in 2005, whereas 6,600 new enterprises have been put into operation until August 2006.

- Only through founding of new companies we can revive the economic environment and realize all started reforms in the real way – said Pavlović.

President of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Slobodan Milosavljević, higher advisor in the Ministry of Labour, Slavica Timotijević, President of the Trade Union of Metal Workers UGS "Nezavisnost", Dragan Matić, the Presidence of the Independent trade union of metal workers, Zoran Vujović, and the Secretary of the metal group UPS, Srđan Veljanovski, took part in the discussion about the conditions that must be provided in order to make Serbia the real place for the investments today.
