Plan for putting Smederevo steelworks back in operation to be presented as of 25 February 2013

Finance and Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic stated that the management and trade unions of Zelezara Smederevo steelworks would present their plan for putting that steel mill back in operation the next week.

In a statement to the press, Dinkic stressed that Russia's Uralvagonzavod should decide by then if it was going to enter into strategic partnership with Zelezara Smederevo.

- We have another option ready and we are going to present it after talks with the trade unions and management of Zelezara Smederevo. In any case, we have a plan ready - said Dinkic.
