New members appointed to AmCham Serbia Managing Board

At the 12th General Assembly of the US Chamber of Commerce in Serbia, AmCham members appointed seven new members to the Managing Board of this business association. Jugoslav Piric from Microsoft was named the first vice president of AmCham, whereas the new second vice president is Vladan Zivanovic from the Saga company.
Among the new members of the Managing Board are also Stephen Fish (Ernst&Young), Ivan Vujacic (Eurobank), Misa Lukic (Leo Burnett), David Banjai (Ball Packaging), Zeljko Tomic (OSA Racunarski inzenjering).
- The previous year was very challenging for Serbia. We expect the newly appointed members to the Managing Board to use their enthusiasm and elan to strengthen the efforts AmCham puts into improving the business climate. There are new challenges ahead of us in attracting new investors and keeping the existing ones as well as in the improvement of dialogue between the business sector and the Serbian government - said Milos Djurkovic, president of the US Chamber of Commerce in Serbia.
Representatives of the AmCham member companies were also addressed by Michael Kirby, the US ambassador to Serbia, who complimented the Serbian government's fight against corruption and underlined the importance of a strong private sector for a healthy economy.
