A "sleep studio" has opened in the Austrian capital, Vienna, offering tired workers and shoppers the chance for a power nap in comfortable surroundings.
For 11 euro, customers get 30 minutes on a sofa in an individual sleeping alcove, with classical music lulling them to sleep and a drink and snack when they awake.
The studio is situated in downtown Vienna, and the owners who came up with this idea say it makes sense because nobody goes back home at noon any more as jobs nowadays don't allow it. That's how they got an idea to bring the livingroom and bedroom to the working people in Vienna.
Music lulls people to sleep, and classical is a preferred style, as you might expect in the city that was home to Joseph Haydn. There is also a heart rate monitor that reads how evenly the customer's breathing and as they fall into deeper sleep, the music gets louder.
Would you like to have a "sleep studio" near your workplace and would you use it?
