Philip Morris names Jelena Pavlovic Deputy CEO for Serbia and Montenegro

Philip Morris has appointed Jelena Pavlovic as the deputy director general for Serbia and Montenegro, the company said in a release today.

- Jelena will crown her successful ten-year career at Philip Morris by assuming a leadership position that will allow her to make even stronger contribution to the development of our operations - said Paul Riley, Philip Morris' director general for Serbia, Montenegro, central and southern Europe.

The newly appointed deputy CEO, Jelena Pavlovic, said that she "proudly leads a generation of Serbian managers assuming managerial positions at one of the largest multinationals," adding that she believed that great successes lay ahead of them.

The new director of corporate affairs is Jelena Aleksic, who has so far been performing the duties of Government Relations Manager, the release reads.

Jelena Pavlovic graduated in 1998 from the Law Faculty of the Belgrade University, and has been working in various positions at Philip Morris in Serbia and abroad since 2003.
