Serbia and Cyprus sign three interstate agreements

Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic and President of the Republic of Cyprus Dimitris Christofias signed Wednesday (30 January 2013) a Memorandum of Understanding between the governments of the two states to establish an improved partnership, it was announced on the Serbian government's website. Representatives of Serbia and Cyprus signed two more interstate agreements as part of the first summit of the two countries held at the Palace of Serbia.

Dacic and Cypriot Minister of Justice and Public Order Loucas Louca signed a Protocol between the governments of Serbia and Cyprus on the implementation of the readmission agreement signed between Serbia and the European Community.
Serbian Transportation Minister Milutin Mrkonjic and his Cypriot counterpart Efthimios Flourentzou signed an Agreement between the governments of Serbia and Cyprus on cooperation in the field of maritime transportation. During the afternoon part of the summit, on the eve of the signing of the agreements, separate bilateral meetings were held between Dacic and Christofias and Serbian Finance and Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic and Cypriot Transportation Minister Efthimios Flourentzou, as well as a plenary meeting of members of the two governments.
