Airplanes of "JAT Airways" could soon fly from Priština again

The Head of the State Economy Team for Kosovo and Metohia, Nenad Popović, announced the possibility that the national airliner "JAT Airways", after the seven-year break, flied from the Priština airport again.

- Both Serbian and Albanian side have interest in the quick return of the Serbian airliner into the air space of Kosovo and Metohia and that idea was also well accepted by the representatives of UNMIK - said Popović.

He reminded that "JAT" used to be the main airliner in Kosovo and Metohia and much cheaper than the othe airliners.

- Tour operators, Albanians from abroad and from Kosovo and Metohia talk about that time with nostalgia - said Popović and added that "JAT" lost about 30m USD, because it did not fly from Priština.
