US consortium Bechtel Enka interested in building highway from Bar to Serbian border

The US consortium Bechtel Enka is interested in building a highway in Montenegro, between Bar and the Serbian border, it was announced in Podgorica.

Montenegrin PM Milo Djukanovic has talked with the representatives of that US consortium about possible cooperation in the implementation of infrastructure projects in Montenegor.

Representatives of the US consortium, which is mainly engaged in the construction of traffic infrastructure in the European market, have presented Djukanovic with plans for cooperation in that field and expressed interest in partaking in the implementation of the most significant project in Montenegro - highway construction, the Montenegrin government said in a release.

As it was agreed, teams of the US consortium and the Montenegrin government will meet within the next few weeks to consider all details of the offer, including funding models, which will serve as the basis for making a quality decision, the release reads.
