Biggest "Galenika's" investment in 2007 will be construction of new factory worth 46m EUR

The main goal of "Galenika" in 2007 would be the investment in the new factory worth 46m EUR, said the general manager of that pharmaceutical company Aleksandar Pravdić.

He said that the factory would be built according to the highest European standards of good manufacturing practice, which would enable export of the drugs made in "Galenika" everywhere around the world.

In spite of the objective difficulties, "Galenika" made significant progress in operations in 2005 and 2006, which was confirmed by the Republic Development Institute by awarding it the title of the most successful company in 2005 whose net profit of 1.9 billion CSD was the highest in Serbia.

Besides, Pravdić reminded that the Financial Center for Central Europe in London had proclaimed "Galenika" the best pharmaceutical company in Southeast Europe in 2005, whereas "Trade leaders Club" from Madrid, on the basis of the financial index of operations, had given it the Award for Quality of the New Millenium.
