Representatives of the famous British market chain Tesco have talked with the representatives of manufacturers and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce about the company's entry to the Croatian market, Vecernji List reports.
After meetings with about 20 Croatian manufacturing companies, organized by the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Tesco representatives said that they were satisfied with the meetings and that they had already decided to enter into cooperation with some of them.
People at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce did not set out any concrete details, and the only two people to address the public were MAR-MAR CEO Zvonko Fiser and Nevenka Pelko, sales, marketing and business development director at the porcelain maker INKEPOR.
Tesco is going to insist on low prices, and these talks were more than concrete, Fiser and Pelko agreed.
Tesco Group's global sales were at GBP 72 billion last year, up 7.4 percent from 2011.
