Benefits for employers who hire disabled persons or beginning employees younger than 30

= Starting September 1, 2006, the employers who hire the beginning employees younger than 30 or the disabled persons will be freed from the payment of taxes on their salaries in the following three years - the Ministry of Finance of Serbia reminded.

The employers who hire unemployed persons younger than 30 and workers older than 45 and 50, who are at least six months in the registry of the National Employment Agency, will get two-year tax benefits.

For these categories of workers, the employers will be freed from the payment of taxes for mandatory social insurance.

The Ministry points out that, with the application of the new regulations, the taxes on net salary of the newly employed young workers will be reduced from present 73.1 to 24.7%.
