Possible launch of direct air service between Abu Dhabi and Podgorica

Political relations between Montenegro and the United Arab Emirates are extremely good and strong, and serve as a good basis for the improvement of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, it was assessed at a meeting between Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic and UAE Deputy Prime Minister Haza bin Zayed Al Nahayan. The meeting was an opportunity to exchange opinions about the launch of a direct air service between Abu Dhabi and Podgorica, which would give a significant contribution to the dynamics and intensity of relations between Montenegro and the Emirates. At the same time, the two sides recognized tourism, energy and agriculture as areas of special interest for strengthening cooperation.

- The UAE has a positive relationship with Montenegro at all levels, and we will focus on investment in this country in the following period - said the deputy PM of the Emirates.
