Water supply companies in Serbia without chlorine, danger of epidemic ?

Due to stoppage of production of chlorine and aluminum sulfate in Kruševac-based Chemical Industry Župa, most of the cities in Serbia will be out of drinking water in few weeks, some of them even in few days, or risk to catch mass epidemic and contagious and intestinal infections.

This warning is excerpt from the letter sent by water supply companies in Serbia to all authorized ministers and Republic Government, asking further instruction for work in conditions when the only chlorine manufacturer in the country takes them for the hostages of its private interests.
