Agreement on Russian loan for Serbian Railways to be signed January 11th

Finance and Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic should sign an agreement on a USD 800 million loan for the Serbian railway company Serbian Railways with his Russian counterpart Anton Siluanov in Moscow on January 11th. The two will also talk about a USD 1 billion loan that Russia may extend to Serbia as a support to the country's budget.

- Finance Minister of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov invited me to come to Moscow on January 11th to sign a USD 800 million loan agreement that was previously confirmed by our governments and is intended for Serbian Railways - Dinkic said in an interview with Tanjug news agency.

As Dinkic noted, this meeting with the Russian finance minister will also be an opportunity to organize a meeting with the representatives of Uralvagonzavod, which is interested in taking over Zelezara Smederevo steel mill.
