The Tax Administration of Serbia will publish a new list of the 1,000 biggest tax debtors - 500 juristic persons and 500 entrepreneurs, by the end of January, people at the Tax Administration told Beta news agency Tuesday.

The first ever list of the biggest tax debtors, which also included citizens, was published by the Tax Administration in early 2012 on its website www.poreskauprava.gov.rs.

According to the amendments to the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration adopted by the Serbian parliament in late 2012, such list is to be published every three months.

The largest tax debtors are mainly banks and companies in bankruptcy or restructuring.
