Trstenik gets seven-hectare industrial zone

Trstenik will offer a seven-hectare industrial zone to all foreign and domestic investors interested in investing in that city, Mayor Miroslav Aleksic announced Friday (4 January 2013).

According to a statement issued by the municipality of Trstenik, Aleksic has met with Finance and Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic and Minister of Regional Development and Local Self-Government Verica Kalanovic and presented them with the municipal plans for the following period.

Aleksic also announced that the Trstenik municipality had started the process of the takeover of an area where an airport was situated, adding that the plan was to turn that area into an industrial zone to offer to investors.

According to him, the Morava Corridor represents a great opportunity for the development of Trstenik and the entire Rasina region.

Aforementioned meeting was also attended by the representatives of the municipality, who underlined the importance of Prva Petoletka for Trstenik and stressed they expected substantial help from Minister Dinkic and the whole government.
