DINKIĆ: Two new highways on "Corridor 10" to be built in 3-4 years

Minister of Finance of Serbia, Mlađan Dinkić, announced that the project for construction of two highways on "Corridor 10" would be realized within the next 3-4 years.

The north branch of that road will be built on the basis of the tender that was announced for the concession, whereas the south branch will be built from the means of the National Investment Plan. Dinkić stated that the Government of Serbia would invest 900m EUR in the construction of "Corridor 10", 800m EUR of which would be provided from the National Investment Plan and 100m EUR from the donation of the Greek Government according to the "Hellenic" plan.

Reminding that the Government of Serbia made the decision to start negotiations with the creditors of the Paris Club about the possibilities of exchange of debts for investments, Dinkić said that the Government of Serbia had got the offer from the German Government few months before to exchange the debt of 25m EUR for investment of 5m EUR in the ecology sector, which had been accepted and signing of the agreement was expected in September.
