Complex combat systems factory opened in Velika Plana

Aleksandar Vucic, Serbia's first deputy prime minister and defense minister, opened a factory for producing complex combat systems in Velika Plana on Saturday (29 December 2012), Tanjug news agency has reported.

The factory will hire around 100 people who will be assembling armored personnel carriers BOV M10 and BOV M11 and self-propelled artillery Nora B-52, whereas the production of armored personnel carriers 'Lazar 1' and 'Lazar 2' in cooperation with partners from Russia is in the pipeline for the future.

The new business unit Morava, which will be opened by Jugoimport SDPR in Velika plana, will be assembling parts, components and sets produced in cooperation with domestic metal and electrical companies.
